When Theresa asked me to photograph her wedding at the Emerald Oaks Ranch in Jamul, I was beyond excited. This enchanted little ranch has a majestic feel to it as you enter the property and gaze at the castle. I have known Theresa for many years as she grew up with my sister and is the sister-in-law of my cousin. Theresa and Rich’s ceremony gave me goosebumps as the recited their vows they wrote for each other. I could literally feel how deeply they felt for one another.
Photographing My In-Laws July 26, 2011
If anyone knows my in-laws, you know they love to take photos! Any photo that my mother-in-law and father-in-law are in together, it is by the self timer on their point and shoot camera. Since we were headed up to Big Bear for vacation, and there are numerous beautiful backgrounds for photos, I offered to do a photo session for them. We went by what we call the “sledding hill” in the town of Fawnskin, which is just right outside of Big Bear. The weather was gorgeous and so were my in-laws.
In Love July 13, 2011
When your best friend gets engaged, and you are a photographer, it is the highest honor to have them ask you to photograph their engagement. Nicole and Ryan are high school sweethearts. I met Nicole in our Drivers Education course at Parkway Bowl in El Cajon when I was 15…wow, that was 10 years ago! I met Ryan shortly after in high school. I am so happy for Nicole and Ryan and I cannot wait for their big day!
Johnny Cash Inspired Western Wedding June 27, 2011
I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Sid and Taryn this last weekend. Cash’d Out performed and really helped set the tone of their western wedding. Taryn was absolutely gorgeous and Sid was dashing in his western suit. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Ellis!

Here Comes The Bride February 26, 2011
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to photograph my cousin’s wedding ceremony down at the Old Steel Bridge in Rancho San Diego. The ceremony was intimate, as only parents, grandparents, and siblings attended to help celebrate the union of Rachelle and Ian. Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your special day!

Sean’s Portraits :) February 11, 2011
This kid is one of the most adorable and easiest kids I have worked with. Talk about being photogenic, this kid could be a model. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him

Happy Birthday Little Man! January 15, 2011
We didn’t get to stay long, but I was able to get a couple of good shots of my cousin’s son. I can’t believe he is 1 year old already. Sometimes I am amazed at how quickly time flies by!

*Sprinkle Sprinkle* January 15, 2011
I love seeing how loved people are by their interactions with friends and family. My friend Danielle is one loved lady! I could feel the warmth of everyone’s presence in Danielle’s house for her sprinkle for her daughter. I feel lucky to have been a part of her day!
